GAEL Vision Greater Atlanta Electric League (GAEL) was founded in 1989. The vision of the GAEL is to be a recognized, respected professional organization in greater Atlanta's electrical construction industry --a dynamic forum to promote:
- understanding and cooperation among all branches of the electrical industry
- heightened awareness and education of its members-- not only in industry matters, but in business and political affairs.
- support of member families through funding of collegiate scholarships
- ethical values to maintain our industry's professional standing within our community
Each year GAEL sponsors a SCHOLARSHIP FUND. Over the past several years, we have awarded $4000 scholarships to five worthy candidates (per year). To be eligible, the student must be enrolled (or planning to enroll) in a full or part-time program of studies at any accredited 2 or 4 year post-secondary school; the student’s parent or guardian or grandparent must be a member (or employee of member company) of the Greater Atlanta Electric League (GAEL); the student must plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university the following year.
